trainingwheelz Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I have 256meg of PC2700 XMS RAM (I think it's 333, but I'm not sure) which I purchased in 2002. I am considering buying a further 512 meg of Corsair memory. I'm wondering if it's worth spending an extra AUD$30 or so to get XMS PC3200 400Mhz or just get Value select 512 PC3200 400Mhz without the XMS feature. Since the cheaper stuff is still faster than my original XMS 2700 RAM, will it do just as good if I use this instead of the XMS 3200 400 more expensive option?
