K55 over WIndows Remote Desktop

Hello,

I've been using my K55 keyboard with iCue on my Desktop but have recently subscribed to a VPS and would like to use it there as well. So far I can't get it to recognize the keyboard in iCue or even read the G1-G6 keyboard strokes saved in hardware mode either.

Am I trying to do something that is not possible? Any help would be appreciated.

I get the challenge you're facing with your K55 keyboard and iCUE on your VPS. Unfortunately, iCUE needs a direct connection to the hardware, so it won't recognize your keyboard over a VPS. This means the G1-G6 key assignments saved in hardware mode won't work properly either.

Here are a couple of tips that might help:

1. Local Setup: Connect the keyboard to your local machine, configure it with iCUE, and then use it with your VPS.
2. Remote Desktop: Try using remote desktop software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk to control your desktop from your VPS while keeping the keyboard connected locally.
