As of today - after an update? - iCue crashs on every attempt to run it?

On starting my PC today, iCue is crashing on every attempt - "iCue has unexpectedly encountered a crash", with the option to send a report to Corsair.

I've tried repairing my installation. Rebooting. All with no improvement.

Is there anywhere where I can look for logs? Any suggestions how I get iCue working again? (With my rgb Strafe mk2 keyboard)

ps: I use a KVM and iCue is working with that keyboard on a second PC.

You will have to fully uninstall iCUE. If you updated to v5 (which to me is hot garbage) revert back to v4.33 (as this is the most stable version right now, IMO). When I updated to v5 my aio H115i Elite Capellix started to constantly disconnect from iCUE. I reverted back to v4.33. Follow these instructions:

1.       Open your computer's Control Panel.

2.       Open the Programs and Features options

3.       Select CORSAIR iCUE 4 Software in the list, and then select Uninstall.

4.       Press Window Key R to open the Run command.

5.       Type %appdata% and press Enter.

6.       Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.

7.       Return to the Run window and type %localappdata%.

8.       Delete any Corsair folders in the window that pops up.

9.       Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ for iCUE     3, or C:\Program Files\ for iCUE 4.

10.   Delete any Corsair folders in that folder.

11.   Type Regedit in the Run window and then click OK.

12.   Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ and delete      the Corsair folder.

13.   Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ and delete the Corsair folder.

14.   Restart your computer.

15.   Download a new installer file for iCUE from Corsair.com and reinstall.

Now afterwards if you get an error stating folder has info in it. Reboot your PC and boot into Safe Mode and delete said folder (Corsair).

Thanks for that.

I thought I'd go with the simplest version before trying your more 'complete' version.

- Uninstalled iCue V5

- Installed iCue V4

And it worked, even down to my default lighting profile immediately still working etc with no effort/work.
