Toyotale
I currently own a hs 70 Bluetooth and for the past few months the headset on many occasions decides to randomly fail and suddenly blast white noise at full volume straight into my eardrums. I have already RMA my first pair of headphones but the issue has happened again multiple times through the months I have received my 2nd set. I have reinstalled icue and reset the headset multiple times yet the problem still persists. Honestly at this point I don't even want to use my hs 70 Bluetooth because I don't want to be randomly greeted with hearing damage every time I use it. Any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated for my hearing's sake. (Will post video of problem later)
Toyotale
Video of failure shown here because I can't upload videos here: https://youtu.be/9yNEJBCAoIA. Over this past week it has gotten worse and on certain days I have multiple failures. Edited March 31, 2022 by Toyotale

Have you also had the issue where the headset doesn't get detected on startup? If that's the case I wonder if it has something to do with software/windows related. It's gotten to the point where I would honestly just throw money at the problem and get myself a nicer headset rather than playing Russian roulette with my hearing. Max_Dee
I've been having the exact same issue with my HS70 Bluetooth headset. I've been in contact with Ryan from Support several times over the last few months, but the intermittent problem of getting blasted at full volume with harsh white noise is incredibly frustrating. We've updated iCue to v.4 and tried various USB ports and power settings, but it's still an issue. I use MS Teams frequently and I rely on my HS70, but in the middle of an important client meeting, I have to reseat the USB from the HS70 to stop the white noise blast. It makes me wonder if it's something to do with the HS70 being fully charged, but as it's always left connected via USB, it's like an overcharge is occurring and interrupting the audio after an internal failure. Hmm that's interesting as I always leave the headset plugged into my pc as well. I'm about to send my headset back for another RMA tomorrow (this time corsair covered shipping). So let's see what happens this time with my new headset. I don't have much high hopes but we'll see. Edited May 8, 2022 by Toyotale
Toyotale
An update on my 2nd RMA headset and the issue came back on a brand new headset in 2 days of use. Simply unbelievable. I don't want any more RMA's at this point because I'm done with this headset and it can go straight to the garbage. It's clear beyond a reasonable doubt that there is simply a design flaw with this headset and corsair really needs to look into this before they give more people hearing damage.
