iCue H150i Elite Capellix inside an iCue 7000x RGB Case

Recommended Posts

So, I've got an interesting problem. The iCue 7000x case already has what looks like a Commander Core in the back of the case, pre-setup for the three fans in front and a fan in the back.

Now, I bought a iCue H150i Elite Capellix AIO cooler, and have mounted it inside the case with no issues. However, I've run into a snag. While I've got the pump plugged into the pump header for my motherboard, I cannot plug in the 24 pin plug for the Commander Core, due to the one already present in the case being plugged in, but also sealed shut, as I cannot remove the cable from the existing Commander Core in the case.

My question is; do I need to plug in that 24 pin plug for the pump? If so, what should I do? I still have the other Commander Core that came with the AIO Cooler in the first place. Would it as simple as plugging in the second core? Any advice would be great!
