EatMyPixels
Hi Guys I am going to add a drain valve and change the colour of the coolant so I have seen people flush with distilled water but what I have is DI water from a Reverse Osmosis set up which I use for clean water for my marine fish tank . DI Water is water with all the chemicals stripped out so its pure I dont see why not Any Comments ?
nerdballer
DI water can still contain bacteria and pathogens. If the coolant you're going to use has a growth inhibitor then I'm guessing it's fine. Haven't used DI water before so I can't comment based on experience.
acemaninwa871
You can use that. But you still need a biocide and a corrosion inhibitor

I was only using the DI Water to flush out the loop then refilling with Liquid.cool CFX Pre Mix so I assume the premix should have all the growth stuff already in it
