NeptuneUK
Hi guys I have a new PC build and have been out of the game a few years... I have a gigabyte gb350 gaming with 2 x 16gb corsair venge (CMK16GX4M1D3000C16.) sticks. They currently run at 2133mhz instead of 3000mhz.... When I go into the BIOS and enable 'profile 1' under XMP when I restart I just get a blank screen until I reset the CMOS. I can seem to run a single memory stick at 3ghz, but not two at the same time. Is this a motherboard issue? Or a faulty memory issue? Will updating the bios, replacing the memory or getting a new board help me run both at 3000mhz??
NeptuneUK
My manual says that the board only supports 2667mhz NOT 3000mhz... Is there a way to safely set the RAM to 2667? It seems strange that a single stick will run at 3ghz but not both...
