R2-75 Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Hi there, I just built a brand new system and upgraded to an AX860i psu, but the out of the box voltages appear to be a little low on the 3.3 rail (3.28 max, dips as low as 3.232 on furmark) and the 5v rail is just slightly low at 4.99 with small fluctuations. The self test shows green but with the historic issues with this psu model should I exchange it while I still can? My last psu was an HX 850 that never showed below base with no load. red-ray Posted April 4, 2017 Share Posted April 4, 2017 These voltages may well be incorrect and you need to validate them using a calibrated voltmeter/multi-meter.Use CL 4.6.0.86 or later which will read the voltages etc. directly from the PSU digital power controllers.Post a screen shot so we can see what the voltages are when which voltage sensor is being reported.See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=853900 for how to attach a file/screen image to a post.It would be easier to help if you used http://forum.corsair.com/forums/profile.php?do=extra to add your PC specs to your profile.
