Intacept
Hi, I recently built a new system for my nephew and I noticed after a fresh install, every so often the fans spike and sound very loud for about 2 seconds and quiet down again. This happens regardless whether or not I am on "Performance", "Balanced" or "Quiet"...and it's not even because I opened a game or anything. I read somewhere on another board that several have experienced the same issue and someone was able to change something from CPU temperature to Radiator temperature and it seemed to solve the issue of fans spiking in speed and loudness... What would I need to change within the Corsair Link software to fix this issue?
red-ray
On the H115i fan configuration panel change the temperature group to be the H115i tempetature
Intacept
I will be going back over to my nephews place and will try that. Do you happen to have or know of any screenshots showing this menu so I know what to look for when I go back over?
red-ray
I don't have a H115i so no. On the CL4 [home] tab you click on the fan and the panel should pop up. I feel it should be all pretty obvious once you try it
