Konstantinos
Hello to everyone, i am new to this forum and i would like to ask a question. I have an old PC. (mobo: p5q3 deluxe, CPU: q9550-i3 RAM 2GB ) which i decided to upgrade a little, spending as few as possible. I want to add 8gb ddr3 and the only way i can do that to this old mobo with ddr3 ram is by adding 4x2gb modules. My questions is will my mobo run on 4 modules of this spec. ram http://www.corsair.com/en/vs2gb1333d3 ? I get confused when i read about ram technology in forums here and there, for example, that if i instal single rank ram it will not work because it is a newer technology and what i need is and older dual rank ram. Furthermore i would love it, if someone would be able to provide me a website where i can read and learn everything there is to know about ram memory and its technology. Thanks and sorry for the long post and the bad English (i would give you a potato but we are not in 9gag  )
FuturisticMC
Yes that would work. The specs page says it supports 16GB max at 2000MHz (overclocked) max so as long as it meets that or is below it will work. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5Q3_DeluxeWiFiAP_n/specifications/
