CASE MOD: Corsair 330R Titanium Edition

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, Welcome to my 1st Thread

This is my first build and my first mod to join a case mod competition in Indonesia. My build is pretty budget-based build because most of my PC parts are from second hand and it's take 2 years for me to build this PC to get all parts fit with my desire.

This is a casemod competition with a sticker cutting themed "Batik". As you know, batik is the Indonesian characteristics. My mod is called "Seven Thirty" because I took 730 days to build my RIGs and as a college student I have to wake up in the morning at 7.30 AM lol :D: . This event were held by PT. Alfa Artha Andhaya, main distributor for MSI Product in Indonesia, so I added their logo's and a dragon keychain (actually who is sitting down above the PSU Cover is a keychain :D: ). So, here is my worklog and several final pics. Sorry I don't have any better camera :(

So, at the first week, I start to clean my lovely case Carbide 330R out from any other stickers and dust.

Raw Case :D

I need to re-manage cable for the front panel because it's doesn't seem neat and clean, so I decided to open the front panel and tie down the cables.

At the second week, I planned to setup the lighting, painting the HSF, make the SSD hanger, and make a cover for the cable management holes (It's unfortunate that my carbide 330R cable holes not equipped by a rubber).

Here I used a Black Flat Pylox, I only use 1 bottle and it's about a 1/4 remaining when I finished my mod.

Before, I have mention that I want to use this two things, but in final mod I realize that the cable management cover is too ugly to be applied in my RIGs, and for the SSD hanger, I didn't get the 90 degree SATA Connector :[pouts: . So I decided to put it back to the default condition.

For the last day, I only applying the stickers and finishing the cable management. To get a good cable management is very hard, so I decided to buy a PSU Cover for my case because I caught by a deadline so I can't make it by myself.
