Neverbloom
I'm having troubles trying to get Corsair link v4.2.0.162 to install on my system. I run the installer and it tells me it has been successfully installed but it doesn't actually install. I tried Version 3.2.5742 and it worked fine for me. Any thoughts or suggestions? red-ray
Try doing Run as Admin, what is reported? Is it as in http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=833695? If not post a screen shot. Sort on Installed On.
Neverbloom
Running it as Admin didn't do the trick. Installation message: https://gyazo.com/ce55342a3e2b3a99b3cccdb3f1ca1309 Clicking Finish doesn't bring up anything, neither does restarting. My control panel doesn't contain any corsair programs and neither does my C Drive.
red-ray
Did you install it to the default location of C:\Program Files (x86)\CorsairLink4? Does that folder exist? Does your account have Admin rights, is not use one that does. Do you have UAC enabled, if so try with it disabled, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-
Neverbloom
Yes I did and no there is no folder. Yes I am Admin. I tried with UAC Disabled and nothing.
red-ray
I have run out of ideas. It installed on this system with no installation issues and it also installed OK on my W10 RS1 and two Server 2008 R2 systems. Log a call to https://corsair.secure.force.com/home/home.jsp or call them via Skype and ask for help.

red-ray
I assume the system has all the latest patches/updates. Sorry nothing worked, but I get the impression many others have issues. To be honest I am none too impressed with this initial release given the number is issues I found, see http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=833499. Some are not a big deal, but some are gross errors and clearly Corsair testing is limited.
Neverbloom
Installing .net 4.6.1 fixed it.
red-ray
Installing .net 4.6.1 fixed it. It's good to know you got it working. If CL needs .net 4.6.1 the installation should automatically install this though! Corsair need to do better.
