freestylar
Hi all, I've just ordered a R9-295X2 to put into my system and I have been told the AX860 is quite capable of supporting it if I'm not intending on overclocking anything in my system. However the card needs 2 PCI PSU connections that carry at least 28Amps each totalling 50 Amps at the card, so I'm wondering which 2 connectors would be best to use off the PSU? http://www.amd.com/Documents/Selecting-a-System-Power-Supply-for-the-AMD-Radeon-R9-295X2-Graphics-Card.pdf So I'm not sure how the Amperage and Voltage is spread across the connections on the PSU and was wondering which connections would be best. I've attached how its currently setup and where the PCI connections would be best in my opinion but also don’t know if I should do something like Option 1 or 2 to spread the connections out. freestylar
Because my PSU only has one 12V rail which can output 71Amps can I theoretically just attach the PCI-E PSU connectors from any of the 6+2 PCI-E plugs to the card and it be fine?
