Dave65
Hey guys, I need some help..I upgraded to a z97 chipset for a z77 and am using the same 16 gig's of Corsair Vengeance 1866 memory I was using in the z77, but running the XMP on the Z77 I had zero problems, that was an ASUS ROG Formula board, this new one is a Gigabyte UD5H..Using the memory the same way I get bsods every so often..I ran memtest and it found no problems..Will I need to up the voltage from 1.5? Or is there something else I should do?
chrisdash
Can you post the full Memory Part Number? There are lots of different Corsair Vengeance kits available. Try different memory in the mainboard first, chances are the problem is with the mainboard and not the memory. The memory has already been tested to work fine, the board hasn't.
