Evo
Hey there, I did plan a build with the AX1200i a few months ago. I all ready got some sleeved cables for it. I noticed that they are also compatible with the HX series. So I could go with it as well. What is the 100€ difference? :o Since both of them are platinum, feature corsair link, no fan mode and from what I've read they are build by similar quality. Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted June 11, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 11, 2015 AXi is fully digital (uses MCU's in place of analog ICs) while the HXi is a traditional, analog PSU that uses an analog to digital bridge to support the reporting to Link. Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted June 12, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 12, 2015 You shouldn't with either model. Some PSU's primary side design don't fair well to UPS's with simulated sine wave AC, but I havent seen that issue with HXi or AXi.
