xizdaqrian
Hello all, Just purchased a Radeon 5770 and discovered that my HP had a 300W PSU. I purchased a TX850W this weekend and installed it today. There is a 2x2 connector that goes to the Mobo which isn't present on the 850. The fans all spin, but the HDD and display don't come up. Neither does the light on the power switch. I imagine it's that connector. FoxConn makes the motherboard for this unit. Thanks in advance. Wired
Does that system support ATX v2.01+?
xizdaqrian
I would imagine. It is brand new. I bought it on Oct 22 of 2009. It's a Phenom II X4. The newer systems are ATX 2.2 aren't they? I'm not entirely certain, but most things are backward compatible. Can anyone answer this?
Wired
OEMs frequently use proprietary components that may not meet normal specs. Ultimately only the OEM manufacturer can answer that.
