jacksula
Good I have a motherboard Ga Gigabyte z130x gaming3, yesterday I bought a ram memories corsair vengance pro rgb of 2666, the pc turned on well and I was playing several hours later with the pc turned on after gave blue screen that said memory managament, and the pc only gave me that error at the time of playing, I went to the store and I changed them, for some new ones I still do not try them, my question is is there the possibility that my motherboard has already damaged the previous memories? Am I afraid to put them back and that the same thing happens? Note It's a 2x8 2666 kit, both were damaged
Corsair Employee Corsair Rick Posted June 12, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 12, 2019 Hello Jacksula, If damage was caused, it was likely done by the motherboard and not the modules as the motherboard is powering the modules. It sounds like unfortunately you may have just received a faulty kit initially though. You may want to talk to you Gigabyte and see what they recommend.
