Torgut
I'm planning to buy an RM550x power supply. I can see that this power supply has its fan on the inside on top, instead of facing out at the back side like many others. But I haven't been able to find any information on whether the fan blows outwards or sucks inwards. It's a bit important for me because it's for a rather small case and I don't want the fan competing with the one from the graphics card which will only be 2cm above the PSU. Does anyone already have one of these PSUs and can tell me which direction the air goes?
Corsair Employee Fauxbeard Posted April 15, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 15, 2016 Pulls air into the components inside the PSU; "sucks inwards" as you put it.
kater
Also, all other PSUs "suck inwards", regardless of the location (and size) of fan; in other words, they exhaust air
