SeriousTom
I Shut down my computer when not using it and when I start it up 50% of the time I have to unplug the keyboard because the profiles aren't loading. When plugged back in my profile then loads. Connected on usb3, latest firmware and drivers. I don't know if it's a keyboard or CUE issue, so I'll post in both sub forums. haz_mat
I wonder if the new "fast boot" features in windows might be interfering. Sometimes you can disable that in the BIOS, might be worth a try.
SeriousTom
I'm using Windows 8.1 and I turned off Fast Start Up but maybe I can delay the start-up of the cue process to see if it helps. Just need to figure out which it is. A link to turning on and off. http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6320-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-8-a.html
Toasted
Update your BIOS and chipset drivers and see if that helps. Have you tried a different USB port? The option you would be looking for is USB initialisation or USB full initial/Partial initial - Along the lines of that in the BIOS. Refer to your motherboard's user manual for detailed information.
