  1. I've had my K70 MK.2 for about a year now and every LED and color is fine, however apparently there was a complete breakdown in quality control for my switches and I have put in an RMA as over half the switches on the keyboard experience key chatter. I will not be buying these types of Cherry switches anymore and the only mechanical keyboard I've ever had fail had been Corsair. Long time user of their products but I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the quality control for their peripherals. edit: Reading more and more of these problems I am hesitant to pay for the the RMA shipping and simply scrap Corsair altogether, I should not have to pay shipping to fix a product that was defective from the factory. I understand manufacturing problems happen but having the customer pay for Corsair's mistake is not good business, and it's extremely rare for problems like this to occur within the 30 day limited warranty window.
  2. I don't know specifically but it's actually for integrating with another Corsair product. A lot of people get confused by this myself included, and there's dozens of threads on this exact topic. However, there is a third-party open source application that will do exactly what you want called Keyboard Audio Visualizer. Not sure if I can link it here but a quick search will help you find what you're looking for. Corsair needs to be a little more descriptive with their ridiculous number of products and how they integrate, because it can be extremely confusing. edit: You may also need the Corsair Effects Engine, I cannot test it right now as I'm in the process of RMA'ing my KB for faulty switches so I can't say if you need both or just one. Should be somewhere on GitHub IIRC.
