MrOctober
Had the vx450 for over five years in a pc with a Pentium cpu, not had any problems with the PSU. Am going to build a new PC with either a Haswell i3 or i5, with an H97 motherboard, 8gb ram and 3 HDD. The five year old 450 be ok or should I get a newer one? Won't be any gaming, no overclocking. Phal
hi, the VX450 has with five years runtime no guarantee anymore. In addition there is no confirmed information from corsair for a compatibility with Haswell (http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/faqs/power-supplies). So I think it's better to take a new.
