Is H90 Compatible with Gigabyte GA-Z170x Gaming 7

I have the Corsair H90 cooling system and I bought a Gigabyte GA-Z170x Gaming 7 motherboard which I will be using the Intel i7 6700k CPU. Will this cooling system fit my motherboard? I have looked at the specs on newegg and I am a little confused.

I purchased my H90 from Best Buy - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-hydro-series-h90-140mm-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler-black/1308483489.p?id=mp1308483489&skuId=1308483489

and my Gigabyte GA-Z170x Gaming 7 Motherboard on Newegg - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128835&cm_re=z170x-_-13-128-835-_-Product

Please let me know, I tried installing the cooling system on the motherboard and the motherboard did not work correctly so I had to RMA it. As far as I was concerned it was going to work. If the H90 will not work on this board please let me know what will.

Thank you,

David

I received the motherboard and it would not power the I/O. A few reviews said they were unsure it the H90 and H100i were compatible with this board so I wanted to make sure it is. Im trying to figure out what happened to cause my motherboard to not work properly and Im starting to think it might have been faulty.

The rear I/O was not working but I talked to a tech and they told me the H90 is fine and that it might have not been working because my computer was not fully booted since the RAM errors were occurring. As far as the H90 though it should be fine according to Gigabyte
