Daiyang
hello all. i just got a new ssd, my 1st ssd exactly, so i dont know much about... anything :) my system is 5-6, maybe 7 years old, but with lots of upgrades. well, only mobo and cpu are old, (asus p5k premium+q6600 intel). i got the Corsair force LS 240gb. with i install new windows (7x64),: 1. i took some time for the installation, 2. its not as fast as i was expected and 3. and most important, some times doing copy/paste, or installation, or just internet browsing everything freezes for some time. 20-40sec if i click on something all applications goes "not responding". its getting on my nerves... anyway, i found some tips, "fixes" online, about IDE and AHCI and others... but the thing is that my sata configuration is by default IDE. (and trim is on, i checked). I tried windows reinstall, changing cables..... all the possible solutions(i think) and i think i will return the drive. get another brand maybe. i read somewhere that some of the LS batch was defecting... any thoughts, or advice thanx in advance *sorry for my english

Toasted
Run a ATTO benchmark and post a screenshot. Have you tried changing from IDE to AHCI? Does it help? Do you have the latest chipset drivers and BIOS installed?
