Swiso
Hello, After a clean new reinstall of everything on my PC I added a new Samsung 840 PRO SSD for the OS and decided to use the "older" Corsair Force F160 for some games. After installing the OS (Win 7 Ultimate 64bit) I decided to run some benchmarks on the two SSD and I saw a BIG difference between the two. I connected the Samsung on the SATA2_0 port of my Gigabyte X58A-UD5 rev 2.0, and the Corsaie to the port SATA2_1 and the to the port GSATA2_8. So basically the Samsung is connected as a SATA 2 device even if it is a SATA 3 device. What I found strange (or I think there could be something wrong) is that I run the same benchmarks with a traditional HDD and the scores of the WD Black 2TB were superior to the Corsair. I uprgaded the firmware to 2.4 between the two benchmarks. In your opinion, looking at the numbers in the attachments, is the Corsair running correctly or his numbers are too slow ?
