My Neutron GTX 240 can not update M208

Hi there,

i use SSD Toolbox updated my drive to M206 few month ago. and i found out Neutron GTX has new firmware M208 but SSD Toolbox tell me Available Firmware is unknown, how can i update my drive to M208?

 

My Drive is Neutron GTX 240 and PART Number is CSSD-N240GBGTX-BK.

 

PS. i try to secure erase my Drive and use two different computer and with or without IRST driver all the seem Available Firmware is unknown.

It's there anyone can help me ?

I have the same problem. I have 3 corsair neutron gtx's. 2 of them show up as having 125 GB capacity and one has 120 GB. I can update the firmware on the 120 GB drive, but the other 2 come back with an unknown firmware and I'm unable to update them.

 

Any help on this would be much appreciated. One of the drives that I cannot update has been running into numerous issues.

Does the two Neutron GTX show up as having 125GB of free space in the BIOS?

No. They show up as having different sizes with the same difference (5GB). All 3 drives were purchased in the same order from Newegg.

 

The part description was:

 

Corsair Neutron Series GTX CSSD-N120GBGTX-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Request an RMA to replace the drives. The extra 5GB shouldn't be showing.

Thanks for the advice, Toasted. I'll see if I can RMA the one drive with the larger capacity that's having issues.
