Elsepth
I added a second internal drive to my desktop and switched a cable from powering my DVD/CD drive to powering the second hard drive since I'm not sure if its safe to use the same cable for multiple devices. Does anyone know how many devices can draw power from the same cable? And if the rule is one cable per device, where can I get extra cables? Corsair Blake
It really depends on the type of peripherals. But if you're just powering simple components, you can do 4x HDDs and a DVD drive on a single 5-connector cable. It'll be fine. That's why we have additional connectors per cable.
