JoshCB
HELP!!! I just spilled a little orange squash (nothing sticky) on the G keys of my Corsair K95. It wasn't a massive amount. I took the keyboard apart as best I could (the top doesn't want to budge though. Then I hairdryer'd it and wiped it dry. Now it is in the airing cupboard. I don't think I can RMA it. Even if I tried, I have removed the sticker on the bottom (I really hate stickers), so I think they would reject it. Is there any more I can do? Toasted
Unfortunately, water spills are not covered by warranty. Let the keyboard dry for a few days and see how it goes. If you plan on putting the keyboard under the sun, remove the keycaps as they may warp under sunlight.
JoshCB
Cheers for the reply. New problem though. I left it in the airing cupboard overnight. The main part of the keyboard is now working; everything except the G-Keys. I chatted to Corsair support about buying a new module, if you know what I mean........all of the G-Keys are connected and drop in as 1 piece. They said they couldn't help. Toasted
Unfortunately they isn't much you can do. The G-keys bit is not a replaceable spare part.
