SleepyEZ
I purchased a lenovo y50 and want to switch the HDD with this SSD(CSSD-F240GB2-BRKT). The SSD is not detected in BIOS on the laptop. So I plugged the SSD into my desktop computer and it works from there. Then I tried updating the firmware on the SSD using "Corsair_Force_Series_Update_Tool_1.0" posted here in the forums and it's not showing up as one of the listed drives. I ran it as administrator, compatibility mode, and tried plugging it into different usb ports. Nothing works. Toasted
Contact Lenovo and see if they can help. The SSD is very old meaning there may be a compatibility issue.
