j2ee
It is a desktop for my mum. She just uses it to play browser board game for few hours everyday and use skype for HD video talk around 20 minutes a day, for around 3 years so far. I thought the ssd would have very light usage record but ho my god there is 1.4pb write, 1.9 pb read with around 180 days usage in Crystal Info. It is running with Windows 10 64bits. What can I check or do to find out what is going on? By the way this SSD is a replacement after the original was down within a year. I didn't check if this replacement had no read/write before. It was from an official dealer and they should have send back to Corsair. I got a brand new Corsair Force LS 60GB with a new box (that's why I didn't check because it was in a new box with all new packing). By the way I don't think a 60GB MLC can even survive with this amount of write data. I believe it is something wrong with how the SSD framework records the read/write data. I have not updated the framework at all.
Toasted
You can check disk usage via Resource Monitor. If the stats are fairly normal, It's likely the SMART values that are incorrect.

I looked at Resource Monitor and so far everything looks normal. So it could be the SSD framework bug? Update framework may fix it?
Toasted
You can give a firmware update a go but i doubt it will reset/resolve the stats. The firmware can be checked using Corsair SSD toolbox. If you are concerned about the drive, you can put in a support ticket and see what Corsair suggests. https://corsair.secure.force.com/

Toasted
It's up to you whether or not you want to erase the drive to update the firmware. Excluding the values, if the drive is working fine then i would not worry about it. But again, if you are concerned, put in a support ticket with Corsair. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
red-ray
there is 1.4pb write, 1.9 pb read with around 180 days usage in Crystal Info. It's possible that Crystal Info is using an inappropriate scaling unit. The units the raw value represents differ from maker to maker and I expect it's using a unit size that is far too high. Below you can see my SSD is 5.10TB + 4.86TB after 1,145 days of use. With OCZ disks the Total LBAs Unit is 1.00GB, but it's possible that Corsair use a different unit and in SIV the current defaults are as below. What does SIV report for your SSD? You could try asking Corsair support what the scaling unit is for your disk, but I would be rather surprised if they tell you. I know the OCZ firmware engineers so I am 100% sure the OCZ units are 1.00GB. dlu = tcsnieql( sdm->dns, TEXT( "SSD-D0" ), 6 ) ? 9 : // WDC - 512 tcsnieql( sdm->dns, TEXT( "Samsung SSD 840" ), 15 ) ? 9 : // Samsung SSD 840 - 512 tcsnieql( sdm->dns, TEXT( "Samsung" ), 7 ) ? 12 : // Samsung - 4KB tcsnieql( sdm->dns, TEXT( "OCZ " ), 4 ) ? 30 : // OCZ - 1GB tcsnieql( sdm->dns, TEXT( "OCZ-" ), 4 ) ? 30 : // OCZ- - 1GB 25; // Default - 32MB

Writes 0x160200 which is 1442304 decimal - using 32MB 44.02 TB Reads 0x1D3B68 which is 1915752 decimal - using 32MB 58.48 TB So it's using a 1GB scaling factor :(:. I expect this is a bug in CrystalDiskInfo 7.0.5 which you should report to it's developers, please let us know what they say. I expect SIV will report 44.02 TB + 58.48 TB which are still rather high, but really need to see all the SMART data so will look again once you post the missing two SIV panels. Corsair, what is the correct scaling factor for the Corsair Force LS SSD : 60.0 GB SSD or the URL of the datasheet that specified this? If as I suspect Corsair will fail to answer, so log a call via https://corsair.secure.force.com/home/home.jsp and ask.

red-ray
32MB:bigeyes: I suspect 32MB must be closer, did you ask Corsair what it actually is and what was their answer? Given the SSD Life Left is still 100% I wonder if the scaling factor is actually 1MB, but only Corsair can provide this information.

If I want to ask Consair support then I need to fill in real information which I don't want lol xd. I doubt they would really look it up and answer me anyway. I expect their staff would come to forum and answer question like this but they don't do that at all.

They used to 'till Jan-2016, since then there has been minimal Corsair input in the English areas, though there is for German/French. I feel this is rather poor :(: I agree and so for SIV 5.16 Beta-23 I changed the code to make 1MB the default. For now if your change Total LBAs Unit to 20 (1MB) and press [save] the values should adjust, do they? tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "SSD-D0" ), 6 ) ? 9 : // WDC - 512 tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "Samsung SSD 840" ), 15 ) ? 9 : // Samsung SSD 840 - 512 tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "Samsung" ), 7 ) ? 12 : // Samsung - 4KB tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "Corsair Force LS" ), 16 ) ? 20 : // Corsair Force LS - 1MB tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "OCZ " ), 4 ) ? 30 : // OCZ - 1GB tcsnieql( dns, TEXT( "OCZ-" ), 4 ) ? 30 : // OCZ- - 1GB 25; // Default - 32MB

If it is not 1MB then the numbers would screw up or something look wrong? The ssd is at my parents home and I don't always go there. I was there today. Consair is an US company: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corsair_Components but they don't support the English part of the forum? LOL

Nothing should screw up, it will simply mean SIV will report ~1.44 TB rather then ~44.02 TB

I always hang around in overclock.net

I always hang around in overclock.net Please grab the SIV beta (Menu->File->Download->SIV Beta) and check SIV now uses 1MB, ideally post the two screen shots again. I am mainly on the Corsair Link forum and I am more into software rather than hardware. That said I suspect I know more about hardware issues than many as my day job is developing Windows KMDF/WDM drivers and I work closely with the hardware/firmware engineers.
