warner
With this new CUE2, it appears that you can't properly have standard and advanced mode profiles all together and have everything function properly. I like some of the built-in profiles which are all standard mode but if I import some of the profiles on this forum, they are usually advanced mode. And having advanced mode chosen stops the regular mode built-ins from working unless I disable the advanced mode. Then profile switching between all these profiles doesn't work properly. I am going back to CUE1 where everything just seems to work.
bruh
Same here. This update seems pointless.
krazykid
Guys you could never mix standard and advanced in CUE 1, the only thing removed from CUE 2 is modes which are being worked on. CUE 2 has CUE 1 features + more...

CUE 2 has CUE 1 features + more... Krazykid, that is incorrect. I reinstalled CUE1 back and I have Standard profiles and Advanced profiles in my list and can switch back and forth easily to them by either selecting them manually and with a profile switching key assignment without having turn on or off Advanced functions. This functionality of having both Standard and Advanced profiles in our list and being easily switchable has been lost in CUE2. Now I don't mean using Standard effects in Advanced profiles but just mean having separate Standard and Advanced profiles in a list and easily selectable. warner
This is what im talking about and your making it easily confusable. Sorry, I thought my original post in the beginning was quite clear. I'm talking about having both Standard and Advanced Profiles in my list and being able to select them easily back and forth without switching an Advanced mode switch back and forth. My original post never said anything about using Standard EFFECTS in Advanced mode profiles. Do you agree this functionality was lost in CUE2 and should be put back? Some of us like the built-in Standard modes as a base or starting point and tweak a few things in them to our liking. Being able to easily select them to use along with all the other Advanced profiles found in this forum is a functionality that needs to be put back in CUE2. krazykid
I personally think standard and advanced mode should be one mode.
TerrorBlade
I started to understand why there are some topics talking about advanced and non profiles as being one...Just made/found some cool profiles for my games that have advanced lightning but in some others i have some of the stock lightnings and it is so frustrating that i can't use both... It should be always on advanced but also give you the option to use the already made effects. Also does anyone know if it is possible to assign a key to enable/disable the advanced options ? ( it's frustrating to always have to open the CUE2 in order to enable and after i finish disable it again )
c-attack
Not that I know of. However, a given profile can have both a standard and advanced lighting profile. So if there are a particular set of profiles you frequently use, you can duplicate the profile in both modes making the switch unnecessary. Obviously some advanced lighting timings are not available in the Basic mode, but you can substitute. I find this better than trying to toggle back and forth all the time. That's exactly what i said above, you can't have standard and advanced effects mixed. For example random typing is not part of advanced However there are certain standard profiles that have been made on advanced mode like spiral rainbow and some others: I have the Spiral Rainbow as a advanced profile: https://alex.krastev.org/users/profiles/168/profile Here is the rainbow with a mini emp on tap: https://alex.krastev.org/users/profiles/132/profile Here is another one of the rainbows with a bigger emp on tap: https://alex.krastev.org/users/profiles/85/profile Here is a slow rainbow with no tap effects: https://alex.krastev.org/users/profiles/74/profile

Yes i know but at least for me it is not very easy to create advanced profiles. Like the vertical Rainbow. That's exactly what i said above, you can't have standard and advanced effects mixed.
