peters Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 Looking to build (2) systems based around the Asus Z170-Deluxe Motherboard. Could I use 4 sticks from the CMD128GX4M8B2800C14 kit in each? This seems to be the best DDR4 - 16gb modules available. Making sure this will work properly as there is no mention of the 100-series chipset for this kit. emissary42 Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 A kit of eight modules will probably not get tested on Z170 by Corsair for obvious reasons, so it won't come up in the memory finder. Its 4x16GB counterpart however will most likely be tested on Z170, if it is released eventually. Using half the kit on Z170 will probably work, but there is no official guarantee for that.
