C6Driver
I am running two CMX512-3200C2 modules on my GA-SINXP1394 board from Gigabyte. I want to add some more ram but was wondering if I put something newer of the same speed but lower latency, will I negate any gain in performance. I was considering adding TWINX2048-3200PRO in the two remaining slots on my motherboard and was hoping to stay with the Corsair brand. Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated! Wired
It's never recommended to mix modules of different part numbers. Replace them with TwinX2048-3200C2s (need to keep same revision if you want 3 GB, which is overkill for most). 4 sticks may also lower your FSB.
