OldPeeBee
I have 2x 2gb sticks of CMD4GX3M2A1600C9 memory in an ASUS P7P55D-E LX mb. I have had nothing but problems for the last year or so - blue screens of death and random resets. Ran memtest on each stick in each of the slots with no errors. Running it with both sticks in the recommended slots I was finding loads of errors. The system runs fine with either single stick of memory in use. Is this the memory or the board? peanutz94
Dual channel is a function of the MB and not the memory. If the sticks have passed memtest then i would have to say it is a good possibility the board is the issue. Or even maybe CPU. Definitely contact ASUS and run it by them. Let them know the memory has tested out fine and you are still having problems. Do you have the latest BIOS for your board? If not it might be worth a try updating it.
