jamesx121
Hello,,, I've been running Windows 7 Home for the last 2 years on my Neutron GTX ssd. Before updating to Windows 10 I want to reinstall a clesn version of Windows 7. I'm sure by now my registry is a mess, undeleted bites of programs left over from previous deleted programs and all the other gunk left on the ssd over time. I have a storage hhd in my system. Will the toolbox create a new partion on my storage drive so I can move my o/s off the ssd long enough to secure erase it???
Toasted
You can create an image of the SSD and save it to the HD then secure erase it and reimage the OS back on to the SSD, though you will still get the unused files left over from programs. Or you can backup all your important data to the storage HD, secure erase the SSD and install a clean copy of Windows and programs.
