Edge419 Posted April 18, 2018 Share Posted April 18, 2018 Hi Corsair, First let me say how much I've enjoyed my Pro 1080ti - i7-7700k 16g ram machine. I bought it in February and fell in love with it. Recently I have been having an issue where audio and video "hang" for about a second. The audio sounds like it locks up and gives a "beeeee!!!" Sound and the video skips a frame and then i just continue in my way. I stream on twitch using OBS and play for about 5hrs a night and have this happen about 4-5 times throughout the night. I'm considering sending it in for warranty/replacement. My question is, if I do and it needs to be replaced and in only 3 months into my warranty, is it possible to replace with a i7-8700k 32gb model and pay the difference? I appreciate your time. Unfortunately, I cannot promise anything in term of upgrade since that's usually a rare case and highly unlikely.
