joker16
I just put a pair of 3200XLPT's in my system (Intel D875PBZ motherboard), and I don't know what's causing the low scores on Sandra 2005 and ScienceMark 2.0. ScienceMark 2.0: ~4200 Sandra 2005: ~4900 The reviews I've been reading give about ~200-300 points more for ScienceMark, and ~100 more for Sandra. I'm just curious, is my motherboard actually the slow performer here, or does that not affect the memory?
Wired
Intel makes solid boards, not performance boards. They also don't supply enough voltage to the memory usually. Try them in a different system to benchmark them.
joker16
So the 2.775 max voltage is probably the cause? I still plan on 400/2-2-2-5, but would I theoretically get a little better performance out of those settings on another board that would have maybe 2.8v and an Athlon 64? Wired
Actually 2.75 volts should be enough, but 2.8 will definitely be enough.
