Levzi Posted November 21, 2018 Share Posted November 21, 2018 I have had my H50 runnnig for around 8 years now, and I am wondering if I should change it or just trust it to carry on. Its been cleaned regularly and reseated once, temps are fine, fans seem fine. The PC was built 8 years ago, and slowly things are being replaced, CPU will last forever, RAM needs changing, mobo and psu are changed GFX card changed. tbh not looking forward to changing it if I do need to, but will if needed. c-attack Posted November 21, 2018 Share Posted November 21, 2018 There's no specific stop using point. The warranty was 5 years, so can surmise an average life span from that. One day it unexpectedly will stop working, but then that is true of all pumps, old or new. I think the only reason to be proactive would be if there is now a discernible loss in performance, odd water sounds, pump mechanical noise, or perhaps if this a 24/7 type system that is left on for long periods without monitoring.
