Seeeker
Hey you ;) Since 2.1 doesn't support TRIM (and isnt available for public download) and the latest intel RST drivers can pass TRIM through RAID (these aren't the drivers for intel SSD's, it is for the ICHxR storage controllers on your mainboard) then the best combination is 2.0 firmware on each drive, erasing them using gparted and reinstalling win7 with the intel RST RAID/AHCI drivers slipstreamed into it (F6) Your board uses ICH10R so this should work fine. I should be able to help you out with this one. You'll need: hardware - another computer - a usb thumb drive software step 1 - Flashing - BootMyISO - download the right firmware for each drive Step 2 - Secure Erasing - Unetbootin (point this towards the Gparted ISO to create a bootable Gparted USB thumb drive) - GParted Step 3 - Installing windows (load RAID drivers at setup) - STOR_all64_f6flpy_9.6.0.1014_PV.zip Message me if you need info on how to use each of these things, although you'll find most of it laying around in the stickys ! Wired
2.1 IS 2.0, so flashing would do no good, not to mention I don't think the utility would flash it when it sees the version number. No, you flash it from the PC it's already in. READ the update thread: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=84600
