lbsniezek Posted August 19, 2018 Share Posted August 19, 2018 Hi I am happy user of Air 740 but my HDD is a bit hot .. i just bought 2 chap 80mm fans ( for testing ) but there are too small will 92mm fan fit ? However, to have any real impact on the HDD temps, you would need the fan(s) to be much closer to have any direct cooling effect. The HDDs are warm because they produce their own heat and likely you have two stuck together. It is not because that half of the case is "heating up" and changing out the air on that side may not help.
