h20rocks
i have an ax 1200 power supply..my cpu is i7 got 4 gigs ram 2333mhz and my vid card is a evga 580 hc2 and mother board is a p55 ftw...my problem is everytime i load a game video card stops responding and recovers..i have tried diffrent video cards, ram, changed cables..still does same thing..is it possible it is the power supply..and is there any way to find out?it boots fine..can use my tuner card for tv but no games..ran every scan test i can and they are all good..i even tryed different o/s. ive ruled out driver issues and now im wondering about the p/s
Synthohol
do you have a meter to check the voltages? software can be unreliable. did you try to load bios defaults and see if it still does it at normal SPD speed? your ram overclock may be an issue. i would try again at stock defaults to rule it out, im not saying it IS the problem but it will help diagnose the issue. thanks. Synthohol
hey, try removing your tuner card! there may be a DMA/IRQ conflict that only happens when loading a game. worth a shot?

Synthohol
grrrrr. how about moving the GPU to a different slot? BIOS update? just tossing out suggestions but you are able to try changing the PSU, request an RMA on the left;)

Synthohol
what do the 12, 5 and 3.3 voltages say in the BIOS, not saying its gonna be perfect but maybe a clue since you have no meter.
