Gomer501
Just a warning..... Pay attention to the 290mm recommended maximum GPU length on the 250D case. If you measure the available space inside the case, there is room for a 305 mm long card, like the Sapphire R9 290X TRI-X OC I have installed in mine. The limitation is that the case lacks the clearance to actually install a card of that length. I was able to install the card only after I removed the metal endplate and once the card is installed, there is no way to reattach the metal endplate. works4me
I had a hard time to decide between the gigabyte windforce and the tri-x to fit in my 250d build ( its going to be here in a few days ) i just read your post and "road runner'ed" to a retailer next to my office and picked up their last 290x tri-x oc bf4 edition , im going to slap an EK water block on it anyway but it's nice to have the option to fit it in the case anyway . 10x buddy , i'll be sure to post my progress with the 240x140 radiator setup once i finish Cheers Works4me ( now im sure it will :sunglasse )
works4me
it fits perfectly :sunglasse man this case can hold a lot of hardware , waiting for the 2 rads ( 240 and 140 ) and the EK block for the sapphire to arrive and then i'll put the trusty H100 out for retirement . http://hwzone.co.il/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=5374&d=1393699798 http://hwzone.co.il/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=5375&d=1393699813 http://hwzone.co.il/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=5377&d=1393699862 http://hwzone.co.il/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=5378&d=1393699873 http://hwzone.co.il/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=5380&d=1393699903
athlonxwz
@works4me I want to know how to install 290 Tri-X in 250D, I like 250D & 290 Tri-X, but the 290mm recommended maximum GPU length on the 250D case. Can you tell me your method?
works4me
Take the front fan and the Ram out and just wiggle it in , the back end of the tri-x cooler ( the yellow plastic ) might scrape a bit against the case but it'll fit , it took me 15 seconds to install it . Hope it helps Works4me
