Daniel256512
Hi guys I’ve just installed a Corsair H150i and it seems to be working all good! He temps in bios say +24 degrees Celsius. I’ve read the manual of this AIO and it says to connect it to the CPU fan header, which I’ve done. The problem is the motherboard says the CPU fan rpm is around 2000RPM when the Corsair LL fans have a maximum of 1600 (around there). They do update and fluctuate around 2000RPM.The 3 intake fans are connected to the pumps PWR connectors. I have an Asus Maximus XI hero motherboard and I can see next to the CPU fan header that there is a AIO header. What is the best way to go about this? c-attack
The BIOS is showing you the pump speed. The fans run from the pump’s internal fan controller and won’t be seen in the BIOS. There is no reason to use the AIO header in with this type of cooler with its own fan controller. The AIo header is more useful when the pump is on AIO and fans on CPU fan. You need to install iCUE or Link to manage and control the H150i.
