Same issue here. I had a feeling it was the ICUE software causing the issue because all of my corsair RGB lighting devices would stutter, turn off then back on with the USB disconnect sound being the precursor. I have MM800 mouse pad, H100i Plat, K65 keyboard, 280x RGB case. Q fan control is turned off for the CPU in the ASUS MB Bios. Setting to a solid color has alleviated the problem.
