Iwanix
Hi, I am planing to build my new pc and I need more information about compatible memory. My specs are: Mobo: Asus STRIX h270f CPU: i7 7700 I gave a look to CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 memory but I am concerned about compatibility (on mobo's page they said something about intel's new gen cpu limitations). Any help would be welcome, thx :)
Vjekoslav
That kit is on the supported memory list for that motherboard. It should work with no problems. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/STRIX_H270F_GAMING/STRIX_H270F_GAMING_Memory_QVL.pdf?_ga=2.238921415.630696819.1498668392-875253654.1489925413 Ctrl+f and search for memory. ps. Only limitation regarding the intel 7th generation processors, I suspect, should be that most likely only Windows 10 works on it. If you want to run Win 8.1 or 7, you would need Skylake instead of Kabylake. Please, check out the manual to confirm.

c-attack
Yes, that is an awkward blurb on their product pages. It seems they are attempting to remind people Skylake CPUs will run DDR4 at a native 2133 and Kaby's will run at their native 2400, while somewhat passively reminding you the modules will default to those speeds until you enable XMP or overclock them yourself.
