Athoms
So, I have the Dominator Platinum with Airflow and can't connect the 4 pin LED cable to the 3 pin and different shaped Lighting Node Pro hub. What am I missing please? Do I need a converter or something to connect? Thanks
red-ray
You can't and need Corsair to release a "Airflow Platinum Pro" as the LNP uses a totally different control regime to the old Lighting Node and/or CL Mini

That is, if like me, you already bought the LNP and arrived at this thread and felt a deep sadness. Fear not. I have an easy solution. The Dominator Ariflow is completely disassemble-able: -4 screws hold the aluminum grille, -4 more screws hold the fans in place. #Corsair was kind enough to keep the RGBs and Fan wiring separate, so.. -peel away the existing RGB strip and extract the rest of the wiring if it's still zip-tied in place. Take one of the included lighting node pro's strips and -peel away the paper layer -press the strip around the Airflow housing in a 'U' shape leaving the + end aligned with the pass-thru on the back plate. -Both ends should end up on the same short side (handy for daisy-chaining). Voila! You have an up-cycled CMDAF. See attached. I can post some pics if this ain't making the sense. Cheers!

At least one could work with what they have already on-hand. Fuss free.
