HeavyHemi
I use a Razor fabric pad. The bottom of the mouse has sharp edges/burrs on the metal frame from the die punch. Also the sharp pointy tips on the bottom toward the front on each side of the cord, should be rounded as well. Anything more than slight pressure causes a drag/catching. Using a small diamond jeweler's file, I took about 5 minutes to deburr all the edges and round off the pointy tips. The mouse is now smooth as silk. It's a major difference.
