mars_wins
Well... I'm in a bit of a quandary. I've had an AX1200i PSU for about that past 4 years and it just recently gone bad. I have random shutdowns and sometimes the PC won't even boot. i switched out to a known good PSU and the PC runs fine. Unfortunately I've lost receipt of purchase so I am not able to RMA the AX1200i. Since I wasn't able to RMA the PSU I figured I could at least break the warranty sticker take a look inside the PSU and see if there are any obviously damaged components I can replace. There was nothing obvious I can find. No swollen caps, no blown mosfets, etc. I was wondering if it would be possible to send in the PSU to Corsair for out of warranty repair and how much it would cost.
