Rassal
Hi, I am always keeping an eye out for Corsair Link updates but this time, i might have upgraded a way too far... I upgraded to 5525 and saw that there is a warning if you are using a Commander (older one). Now, i had upgraded, and i think this is where the problem started... Now... a couple times a week, i get a pop-up... just like this the picture... Am i doing something wrong to get this? I reverted back to the prior version 5361, and Corsair software detects my commander as firmware v2.0.6... but i would like to know what is getting detected like this as an automatic error v0.0.0... and asks for a firmware update? I am using an H80 with Commander... and a couple of fans... nothing fancy... over a Rampage 3 Extreme... I also get wierd behaviors on the software with temperature and cpu usage that turns red, then comes back... then goes away... it only does this in Corsair Link software, if i use anything else for monitoring temps, all tems are good and never stops responding. I un-installed Corsair Link software as per the instructions, deleted the profile, rebooted and re-installed and rebooted... and same result... Would there be a need to do a cleanup in the registry? red-ray
I expect CL has bricked your H80 and you will need to RMA it. To do this open a support ticket via https://corsair.secure.force.com/. I suffered the same (http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134052) as have many others.
