Actions keys do not work when typing into password field?

Hey guys,

I have a macro that I set up about a year ago in which an action would type out a long string on numbers and texts into an identifier field. Thing is, this field is similar to a password field (where all characters show as *****). Would this prevent an action from executing? I am able to use this same macro on different areas of the same website that do not block out characters.

Any ideas?
