jypsie
Recently I started having problems with my fans not working from time to time. I have 6 SP120 fans, CoPro and latest iCUE. Nothing new installed recently and tried un/re-installing iCue already several times. Issues stays: I see CoPro loosing his ability to control fan speed (I see the performance tab going away and coming back all the time), resulting in no fan control at all or possibility to configure it and so overheating my CPU. Fans turn at start up, colors change too, but they stop turning once I am fully started up. I can not use my PC, CPU goes to 90-100C immediately..... I have the impression CoPro also does not read coolant temp anymore, or only occasionally. Using Link now and that works (but has less features), fans now turn and I can use my PC. So that excludes a CoPro problem? What is the problem? iCUE?
AlexIvo
This behaviour is typical of running two monitoring software at the same time, e.g. HWiNFO + iCUE. If you are indeed running HWiNFO, use the portable version of the program so there is no persistent driver installed, and go to the 'Safety' tab of the options menu upon starting HWiNFO to disable 'Corsair/Asetek' monitoring.
